One-Fifth of Workers Plan to Leave Current Job in 2010, Survey Finds

As the economy begins to slowly rebound, workers are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and many are reporting that they are actively job hunting.
Nearly 19% of workers said they plan to leave their current job in 2010 to find a new one and 9% said they plan to leave in 2011, according to the latest CareerBuilder survey of more than 5,200 workers.

Americans’ job satisfaction falls to record low

Even Americans who are lucky enough to have work in this economy are becoming more unhappy with their jobs, according to a new survey that found only 45 percent of Americans are satisfied with their work.
That was the lowest level ever recorded by the Conference Board research group in more than 22 years of studying the issue. In 2008, 49 percent of those surveyed reported satisfaction with their jobs.
