‘Recession Fatigue’ a New Ailment for Employers and Employees to Battle

As the recession drags on, employees are struggling with a new kind of fatigue, according to a new review.  Towers Perrin’s Workplace Watch, a quarterly review of employee opinions across large global organizations, found that employees are expressing more negative views on a range of factors, from long-term career opportunities to company leadership — suggesting the stress of the prolonged recession is intensifying just at the point when the economic tide may be turning.
