The Research Consulting Industry Benefit Survey sponsored by Research Triangle Institute is a survey of Employee Benefit program trends among research consulting firms. This survey provides insights into key benefit issues, such as managing costs, regulations and changes in this unique industry. Included in the report is information on programs offered, premium cost sharing practices and innovative ideas to maximize the return on the company’s benefit program dollars. Participating firms include For Profit and Not For Profit Government Contractors, Scientific Research and Development firms, and other Business Research and Consulting organizations with revenue from less than $5 million to more than $500 million.

Survey Design
The Research Consulting Industry Benefit Survey is designed to be completed in two phases. The first phase consists of an online survey covering benefit information that can be captured in multiple choice and fill in the blank types of questions. The second phase is an interview phase. Participating companies will be selected at random to answer additional questions regarding their strategic plans for their benefits programs as well as processes they have found useful in introducing change. All responses will be shared anonymously with all survey participants to offer the most complete summary of practices and programs offered among this group.
The survey tool itself employs multiple layers of security to make sure your data remains private and secure:
- A third-party firm conducts daily audits of the tool’s security, and it resides behind the latest in firewall and intrusion prevention technology.
- For additional security, we have added SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protection, so that your data is collected in a totally encrypted environment.
We anticipate that the online survey will take thirty minutes to one hour to complete. You can re-enter the survey at any time to complete any missing responses or update your entries until the closing date.
